		<abstract>Neste trabalho são apresentadas medidas de temperatura de excitação rotacional em uma chama pré-misturada, usando-se propano como combustível e ar sintético como oxidante. O método utilizado envolve a medida das intensidades de linhas presentes na estrutura rotacional de transições eletrônico-vibracionais. Foram analisados os espectros de emissão da chama na região do visível. Através da distribuição de intensidades da estrutura fina rotacional da banda 4314A, emitida pelo radical CH, determinou-se a temperatura de excitação rotacional da região da chama imageada na fendo do monocromador. ABSTRACT: This work presents a rotational excitation temperatura measurements in the premixed fiame, using propane as fueld and synthetic air as oxidant. The method here utilized involves the intensities measurements of the lines there are in the rotational structure of vibrational-eletronic transitions. The liame emission spectra were analised in the visible region. The rotational excitation temperature of the region flame, whose image was made in the monocvomator slit, was determined by the intensities distribution of the 4314A rotational fine structure band emited by CH radical.</abstract>
